Fat Burn

Do you often skip meals and log in hours of cardiovascular exercise hoping to burn fat? Did you know that eating less can actually lead to increased fat percentage, even though your weight decreases? One of the main reasons is due to a loss of muscle and decreased metabolism. A lowered metabolism is detrimental to fat loss. Muscles are our metabolism factories; having more muscles increases your capability to burn fat.

Do remember that burning fat does not always equate to significant weight loss. This is due to the fact that muscles weigh more than fats, while occupying relatively lesser space. It is also not as simple as calories ingested versus calories expanded; there is a lot more at play. Hence, do not get too obsessed with the weighing scale.
